FAQs
-
When starting dance, the most important thing is that students enjoy and feel accomplished, no matter the style—ballet, tap, hip hop, or jazz. As they grow more serious, ballet becomes essential for building core skills like posture, balance, and flexibility.
For “by placement” classes, speak with Artistic Director Sandy Morgan or an instructor. Placement considers age, experience, ability, goals, and other commitments. DDC aims to challenge students while keeping them comfortable.ption text goes here

It is essential that you or your parent call or email the studio to let your instructor know you are unable to attend. Speak to your instructor or the artistic director to schedule an appropriate make-up class.
-
Young dancers (ages 3–6) usually do well with one class per week, though some may benefit from two. Ages 7–9 should take 2–4 classes weekly (including ballet) if interested in performing, while ages 10+ should take at least three. All dancers are welcome to choose a schedule that fits them best.
-
DDC bills tuition monthly around the 1st. If your dancer starts mid-month, the first month is pro-rated.
New students should register through the “Log In/Register” tab and add credit card info—DDC will handle billing setup.
To change classes or tuition, please give at least one week’s notice before the next billing cycle.
